We named our second son Silas Valentine so that’s what I got- Silas with a valentine. I love the look of vintage, doily styled valentines and my tattooist did an amazing job. I’m so happy with it. Tattoo by Jimmy Singleton at The Parlour in Eugene, Oregon.
I got this tattoo about 8 months ago, it was done by Aaron Murray @ A Fu Kein Good Tattoo in Jacksonville, Fl. In the banner it says “Dance with the shadows”. Which is lyrics from my band A Jasey Project https://www.facebook.com/ajaseyproject. The full lyrics are “Dance with the shadows of our friends who went away, dine with a memory of love that couldn’t stay”. The piece is a Dia De Los Muertos or day of the dead, which celebrates the life of the deceased, rather then mourning their deaths. I had 12 of my closest friends die in my 4 years of high school and this is a memorial tattoo to commemorate all of them, R.I.P. guys <3
